A 14-year-old Kilchoman single malt matured in bourbon casks, released as the Family Collection 1st Edition. The longer maturation and a reduced phenol content allow the fruit and the distillery character to come through.
Ripe citrus, vanilla and sweet malt combine with a restrained thread of peat smoke. The smoke stays subtle, so the citrus fruit and the malt sweetness sit at the front.
