Kilchoman 9 Year Old is The 15th Edition of the distillery's 100% Islay releases, distilled in 2016 and bottled in 2025 at 50% ABV. The barley comes from the 2014 and 2015 harvests, grown on the distillery's own fields at its gates, which is why these releases are single farm single malts.
The whisky matured for at least nine years in 54 different ex-bourbon casks.
Caramel and vanilla from the casks come through alongside the natural citrus sweetness of Kilchoman and Islay peat smoke.
