Kilchoman – Loch Gorm 2023 Edition (70cl, 46%)

The 2023 edition of Loch Gorm, the annual Islay single malt from Kilchoman. It matured entirely in Oloroso sherry casks and comes in a 70cl bottle at 46% ABV, non-chill-filtered and of natural colour. The whisky was distilled in 2015 and bottled in 2023, in a run of 18,000 bottles. Sherry character leads, with spiced dark chocolate, rich fruit and burnt sugar. These sit in good balance with peat smoke and citrus notes.
