Kilchoman – Rockside 11 Year Old (70cl, 46%)

Kilchoman Rockside 11 Year Old is a lightly peated Islay single malt in a 70cl bottle, from the distillery on Rockside Farm on the island's north-west coast. The Rockside release is described as Islay's only single farm single malt. The barley was grown on the farm, then malted, peated and distilled before the whisky was matured and bottled on site. It was matured in a combination of ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks. It is described as a delicate balance of light smoke, tropical fruit, citrus sweetness and mixed spices.
