This is an Islay single malt from Kilchoman, bottled at 50% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It matured for at least five years in Sauternes barriques chosen by Kilchoman's founder, Anthony Wills, using a mix of first fill and refill casks.
It is a full maturation in Sauternes wine casks, not a finish. The release is described as buttery sweetness, barbecued pineapple, candied ginger and floral peat smoke, with sweet fruit and butterscotch set against the Islay smoke.
