An 8 year old single malt from Kilkerran, the Campbeltown distillery that is sister to Springbank. It is a 2026 release, matured entirely in bourbon casks and bottled at cask strength, 57.7% ABV, in a 70cl bottle.
Kilkerran is a lightly peated, twice distilled malt, bottled without added colouring or chill filtration.
The nose offers butterscotch, vanilla cream, apple butter, white miso, sponge cake and poached pear. On the palate it is creamy, with shortcrust pastry, melting caramel chocolate, gooseberry, white grape, cigar-box smoke and sandalwood. The finish brings green pepper, honeydew melon and ash.
