Killowen – Barantuil 4 Year Old Single Cask #KD211 Btl No. 251 is an irish whiskey from Killowen. Aged 4 years, bottled at 52.35% ABV, 50cl. Beer Hut Brewing Co is just a few kilometres away from us, and this cask made an exceptional pale ale that boasted enormous tropical notes. All of this was made possible due to its combination of fermentations before and during cask conditioning, including highly experimental usage of Lactobacillus bacteria and Brettanomyces yeast. Essentially, a controlled approach to what we do in the wild at Killowen makes this collaboration a match made in heaven.
