Killowen Rum & Raisin is a peated Irish single malt that was first aged in Bourbon casks. The whisky was then divided and finished in two kinds of cask: Killowen's own dark rum casks and Pedro Ximenez sherry casks.
The malt was sourced from Great Northern Distillery in County Louth and finished on site at Killowen Distillery. The sherry casks bring flavours of prunes, figs and raisins, while the rum casks add tropical notes of coconut and vanilla. It comes in a 70cl bottle.
