King of Scots Blended Scotch Whisky (70cl)

King of Scots is a blended Scotch whisky from Douglas Laing, a family-owned Scottish company with roots going back to 1948. The blend was first created in 1886 and comes in a 70cl bottle. It combines selected malt and grain whiskies, with a higher proportion of malt than many traditional blends. The nose is rich toffee and gentle baking spices, moving to fresh citrus and a hint of liquorice. On the palate there is ripe orchard fruit, creamy vanilla, caramel sweetness and delicate spice. The finish is balanced and gently warming, with vanilla, soft toffee and sweet spice.
