Kings County Single Malt is an American single malt from Brooklyn, New York, made from 100% malted barley and bottled at 47% in a 750ml bottle. The distillery was founded in 2010.
The mash uses New York Erie Pale Ale malt, Thomas Fawcett Golden Promise and Chariot Peated Malt. It is twice distilled in copper pot stills and aged for at least three years in used bourbon barrels.
The nose is biscuity malt, flamed orange peel, hay and honey, with floral notes and a little peat smoke. The palate has malt sweetness, tropical fruit, toasted oak, vanilla and candied citrus. The finish is medium, with burnt orange peel, hay and dry smoke.
