Knappogue Castle 12 Year Old is an Irish single malt made exclusively from malted barley.
It is triple distilled one batch at a time in onion-shaped copper pot stills, then aged for twelve years in bourbon oak casks.
The distillation, together with Ireland's moist and temperate climate, gives the whiskey its distinctive flavour.
