Knob Creek 12 Year Old is a Kentucky straight bourbon in a 75cl bottle, bottled at 50%. It spends twelve years in deeply charred American white oak barrels.
It is a full-bodied bourbon in which the high proof is balanced by mature wood sweetness and baking spice.
The nose brings oak, dark chocolate, toasted marshmallow, vanilla bean, leather, cinnamon and nutmeg. On the palate, caramel, brown sugar and dark honey meet charred oak, white pepper and dried fruit. The finish is long and warm, with dry oak spice, toasted wood and a little sweet tobacco leaf.
