Knob Creek Smoked Maple is a flavoured straight bourbon bottled at 45% ABV, or 90 proof. The whisky leads and the maple plays a supporting part.
The alcohol is noticeable early on the nose and palate, followed by undercurrents of maple and vanilla. The finish has flourishes of spice and heat, with a welcome note of orange peel.
