Knockando 15 Year Old is a Speyside single malt matured in ex-sherry and ex-bourbon casks for longer than the distillery's standard expression. The proportion of sherry casks is kept restricted so that it does not dominate.
Its pale golden colour is entirely natural, coming only from the casks, and no colouring is added. Water comes from the Cardnach spring in the hills above the distillery.
The palate is nutty, with baked and dried fruits, sweet apple, raisins and buttery banana set against peppery barley.
