This is a 2008 Knockando from Signatory's Cask Strength Collection, a Speyside single malt at 51% in a 70cl bottle. Ian Thomson founded Knockando in 1898, close to Cardhu and next to Tamdhu on the left bank of the Spey. The distillery has belonged to Diageo's Classic Malts since 2005, and most of its production goes into the J&B blend.
