Krobar Rye Whiskey (75cl, 46%)

Krobar Rye Whiskey is a California craft rye made by KROBAR Craft Distillery, founded in Paso Robles in 2012 by Stephen Kroener and Joe Barton, whose surnames give the distillery its name. It is bottled at 46% ABV in a 75cl bottle. The mash bill is 85% rye and 15% malted rye. The whiskey is distilled once to 125 proof and rested in #3 and #4 char American oak, then cut to bottling strength. It is typically described as spicy, with black pepper, clove and cinnamon from the rye, rounded out by orange peel, caramel, honey and vanilla.
