Kurayoshi The Matsui Mizunara Cask is a Japanese single malt in a limited edition with special artwork, bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky was distilled in Tottori and aged in Mizunara, or Japanese oak, casks. It is brought to strength with natural spring water from Mt. Daisen, and no colouring is added. The brand is made by Matsui Shuzo, a Japanese company with a background in sake and shochu.
It is described as having a faintly sweet, aged aroma, a rich mouthfeel with toffee-like sweetness, and a smooth, lingering aftertaste.
