Kyrö – Malt Oloroso Rye Whisky

Kyrö Malt Oloroso Rye Whisky is a Finnish whisky made entirely from malted rye, using whole Finnish rye. It comes from Kyrö distillery, founded in 2014 on the idea of making rye whisky in a country where no one had tried it. It was matured in a mix of new American oak and ex-bourbon casks, then finished in Spanish Oloroso sherry casks. The wood and sherry bring roundness, spice and richness, while the grain character of the rye remains.
