Kyrö Malt is a Finnish single-batch rye whisky, made from 100% malted Finnish wholegrain rye. It is double pot-distilled and aged in new American white oak casks, and bottled at 47.2% ABV in a 50cl bottle. It won a gold medal at the IWSC in 2020.
It is described as having an aromatic nose of vanilla, caramel, dried fruits and earthy rye. The palate brings sweet rye bread, honey and wild berries, followed by a smooth, peppery finish with caramel and mocha.
