Lagavulin Grain & Embers is a 12 year old Islay single malt from the 2025 Diageo Special Releases. It is bottled at cask strength, 56.5%, in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky matured in refill casks together with European oak butts seasoned with Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso. The mix of refill casks and seasoned European oak butts is the basis of this release.
