This is a 13 year old Islay single malt from Lagavulin, released as a special edition for the 2021 Feis Ile festival.
It was matured in refill American oak casks and then finished in high char casks that had previously held Port. The whisky comes from an experimental batch.
It is described as combining intensity, sweetness, smoke and spice, with an unusually dry undertone underneath.
