This is a 14-year-old Lagavulin made for the 2022 Islay Jazz Festival, in illustrated packaging that reflects the festival's music. It is bottled at a cask strength of 55.4% in a 70cl bottle, and 3,000 bottles were released.
The whisky was matured in refill American oak casks and then finished in brandy casks for five years, which adds a twist of sweetness. It is described as pairing soft winey notes with the smoky, chilli pepper heat usually found in Lagavulin.
