Lagavulin 8 Year Old 200th Anniversary is a single malt from the Islay distillery, released to mark 200 years since its founding, from 1816 to 2016.
The release was inspired by a visit from the British historian Alfred Barnard, who tried an 'exceptionally fine' 8 year old from Lagavulin. The whisky was matured in refill American oak casks and is bottled at 48% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
