Lagavulin – Distillers Edition 2023 (70cl, 43%)

Lagavulin Distillers Edition 2023 is an Islay single malt Scotch whisky in a 70cl bottle, bottled at 43% abv. Lagavulin has been made since 1816 and marked its 200th anniversary in 2016. The Distillers Edition is matured in two stages, with each cask chosen to suit the character of the malt. The aim is to add depth and complexity and to bring certain flavours forward while keeping the distillery's original character. The barley is malted over local peat smoke, which gives Lagavulin its smoky dryness and a sense of the shoreline. The distillery is known for an intense, smoky and rich style.
