Lagg – Heavily Peated Batch 1 Ex-Bourbon Cask (50%)

Lagg Heavily Peated Batch 1 is the first whisky from Lagg, the new distillery of Isle of Arran Distillers. Lagg has been in production since 2019, and this is the first of its spirit to pass the three-year minimum needed to be called whisky. Batch 1 was matured entirely in bourbon casks and bottled at 50% abv, with 10,000 bottles filled. It is a heavily peated single malt, made as an introduction to the distillery's style: a lively, young character that is meant to be the cornerstone of Lagg whisky from here on.
