Laphroaig – 10 Year Old 2015/2025 Small Batch Refill Hogsheads (70cl, 48%)

This Laphroaig is a ten-year-old Islay single malt, distilled in 2015 and bottled in 2025 by The Single Malts of Scotland as a small batch. It was drawn from three refill hogsheads and bottled at 48% in a 70cl bottle. It is non-chill-filtered and of natural colour. The refill wood leaves the distillery's character in front: peat smoke, iodine, sea salt and ash meet vanilla, malt and citrus. The nose has iodine, sea salt, bonfire ash, vanilla and dried flowers. The palate brings peat smoke, malt, vanilla, citrus and a maritime spiciness. The finish is long, smoky and salty.
