Laphroaig – 10 Year Old Cask Strength (58.3%)

Laphroaig 10 Year Old Cask Strength is a peated Islay single malt bottled at 58.3%, a more intense take on the distillery's classic character. It is matured for ten years in ex-bourbon casks, which add subtle hazelnut and vanilla notes. The barley is dried over a peat fire, which gives the smoky character Islay whiskies are known for. After maturation the whisky is mechanically filtered to remove charcoal particles.
