Laphroaig – 10 Year Old

Laphroaig 10 Year Old is a single malt from the Islay distillery founded in 1815. It is the original Laphroaig 10, made in the same way as when Ian Hunter devised it more than 75 years ago. The malted barley is dried over peat smoke, and the smoke from the island's peat shapes the whisky's aromatic style. Time in good oak casks adds to its character. The style is typically Islay, with plenty of smoke and peat, and there are subtler notes beneath the smoke for those who look for them.
