Laphroaig 10 Year Old is a peaty, iodine-edged single malt from Islay. Its colour is old gold with greenish tinges. The nose is rich in peat, red berries, liquorice and menthol. The palate confirms those aromas, with a light body and a short finish. It is a distinctive malt, recognisable from the first nose and typical of Islay in its intensity.
