Laphroaig 10 Year Old is an Islay single malt, bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle. It is matured in ex-bourbon casks, which are linked to a subtle sweetness on the palate.
The nose is peat smoke, seaweed and medicinal iodine, with hints of vanilla and oak. Smoky malt on the palate comes with sea salt and black pepper. The finish is long and warming, with a coastal character of peat smoke and brine.
