Laphroaig 10 Year Old is a peated Islay single malt bottled at 40% ABV in a 70cl bottle. The malted barley is cold-smoked and dried over a fire fuelled by Islay peat, and the water comes from the Kilbride Stream.
It is full-bodied, with a surprising sweetness that leads into a long, warming finish. It can be served neat or over ice.
In the tasting notes, smoke, seaweed, peat and a hint of salt are the main flavours.
