Laphroaig 10 Year Old Unforgettable Edition holds the distillery's classic ten year old, a peaty Islay single malt, bottled at 40%. It was aged for a decade in ex-bourbon barrels, which add a style inherited from charred oak. It won a gold medal at the 2025 International Wine and Spirit Competition.
Peat smoke, seaweed and medicinal aromas lead, followed by sweetness on the palate with hints of salt and layers of peat. The finish is long and lingering, ending in sweet seaweed.
