Laphroaig 10 Year Old Cask Strength is an Islay single malt matured in ex-bourbon casks and bottled at natural distillery strength. This is Batch 15, dated December 2021, at 56.5% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is barrier filtered.
The nose is gently sweet with cereal, dark oak, cedar wood smoke and blossom honey, followed by pipe tobacco, vanilla and nutmeg. The palate combines sweet and spicy notes with toffee, sea salt and strong peat. The finish is long, warm and full.
