Laphroaig 12 Year Old is a 2012 vintage Islay single malt from the independent bottler Douglas Laing, released in its Old Particular series at 48.4% ABV. It was distilled in April 2012 and matured for 12 years in a bourbon cask. It was bottled in June 2024, giving 302 bottles. Tasting notes describe intense smoke with light salt and tar, with the alcohol well integrated, elegant and spicy.
