Laphroaig 15 Years is an Islay single malt in a 70cl bottle, bottled at 46% ABV. The 15-year-old left the range at the end of the 2000s and returned briefly in 2015 as a limited edition marking the distillery's 200th anniversary.
On the nose, orange and grapefruit sit alongside hay, herbs, Laphroaig smoke, creamy vanilla, clove and oak. The palate is powerful and complex, with sea salt, smoke, black pepper, cinnamon, coriander, juicy peach and ripe grapefruit. The finish is long and smoky, balancing sweet and savoury notes.
