Laphroaig 18 Year Old is an Islay single malt bottled at 48% ABV. It was first introduced in 2009 to replace the 15 Year Old, which was famously adored by King Charles. Even after 18 years in ex-bourbon barrels, the distillery's smoky character comes through undiminished. The tasting notes mention tobacco, leather and seaweed, alongside soft fruits, candied ginger and salted chocolate.
