This Laphroaig was distilled on 5 October 1993 and matured for 31 years in a bourbon hogshead before being bottled on 9 July 2025. It was bottled for the independent bottler C. Dully Selection at 42.4%, the cask strength, and the cask gave 197 bottles.
The nose offers ripe yellow fruit, candied lemon and a touch of tropical sweetness alongside soft peat and sea air, with beeswax, vanilla and fine herbs behind. Mango and apricot appear with time in the glass. On the palate the smoke is restrained, with tropical fruit, lemon oil, ripe pear and sea salt. The finish is long and warming, with maritime notes, soft smoke and fruit.
