This is a 2004 Laphroaig from Islay, bottled by Càrn Mòr for its Celebration of the Cask series at 54.9% ABV. It was matured in a bourbon barrel and is limited to 130 bottles, each of 70cl.
Tasting notes describe intense medicinal peat smoke and peppery warmth, balanced by creamy oak vanilla and ripe fruit. The finish is powerful, long, smoky and sweet.
