Laphroaig 25 Year Old is a limited edition Islay single malt released in 2019 in honour of Bessie Williamson. She was the first woman to manage a Scotch whisky distillery, and in the 20th century she both owned and ran one, in an industry dominated by men.
The bottling pays tribute to what she established and built at Laphroaig. It is described as warm and rich, with a distinctive Islay character.
