Laphroaig 25 Year Old is an Islay single malt aged for 25 years in ex-bourbon casks. It is bottled at cask strength and is non-chill filtered.
The distillery's Islay peat smoke is still present, now softened by vanilla, caramelised oak and tropical fruit such as pineapple and mango. The texture is rich and velvety.
Dried fruit and subtle spice follow, and the finish is long and smoky. It can be taken neat or with a little water.
