This is a 34 year old single cask Islay malt, bottled for Wu Dram Clan by Signatory Vintage in its Cask Strength Collection. The spirit was distilled on 20 November 1990 and bottled on 12 March 2025 at 51.7%, in a 70cl bottle.
It matured throughout in a single bourbon barrel, with no finishing, and is bottled without added colour or chill-filtration. The edition is 221 bottles.
The nose offers fresh citrus, almonds and ripe peach, with strong smoke, salty sea air and a touch of seaweed. The palate brings malt, salt and Islay smoke, with mango and papaya breaking through. The finish is very long, with maritime warmth, smoky depth and gentle fruit sweetness.
