A limited-edition Islay single malt from Laphroaig, bottled at a fixed strength of 52.3%. The 2023 Càirdeas draws together elements of recent Càirdeas releases.
Three quarters of the whisky matured in second-fill Madeira casks, which bring smoky, spicy and sweet fruit flavours. The final quarter was finished in first-fill Port casks, mostly white port, adding a hint of crisp fruit and deep woodiness.
