Laphroaig – Elements 3.0 Small Batch (70cl, 55.3%)

Laphroaig Elements 3.0 is a small-batch Islay single malt bottled at 55.3% in a 70cl bottle. It is the third release in the distillery's experimental Elements series. Its character comes from an unexpected fire in the distillery's kiln. The peat burned hotter and for longer than usual, which intensified the drying process and led to a deeper, darker flavour. The notes run to roasted cocoa beans, bitter dark chocolate and coffee, with spice, leather and sooty chimney smoke.
