Laphroaig Four Oak is a single malt from Laphroaig distillery on the south coast of Islay, the first of the three Kildalton distilleries. It is made from a hand-selected blend of single malts. The malts come from ex-Bourbon barrels, 19th-century-style quarter casks and European oak hogsheads, with a portion aged in virgin American oak. Sweet vanilla aromas sit alongside the medicinal peat smoke and seaweed the distillery is known for.
