Laphroaig Lore is an Islay single malt bottled at 48% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is a composition of whiskies of different ages, put together to bring out the rich, layered side of the distillery's character.
The nose is intense peat smoke with dark fruit, vanilla, bonfire and a maritime spiciness. On the palate it is full-bodied, with smoke, toffee, spice, toasted oak and a little cocoa. The finish is long, warm and smoky-spicy, with sweet oak.
