Laphroaig Port Wood is a single malt Scotch from the Laphroaig distillery on the south coast of Islay, first released as Laphroaig Brodir. The barley is dried over a peat fire and distilled with water from the Kilbride Stream. The spirit is aged in charred ex-bourbon barrels, then moved to ex-ruby port barrels. It is described as soft and well rounded, with red berries, seaweed and smoky peat.
