A single malt from Laphroaig on Islay, bottled at 48% in a 70cl bottle. It matured for around five years before spending several months in a quarter cask to finish.
The quarter cask is small, so it needs a shorter time than a larger cask to do its work. The whisky has a light golden colour and a full, rich body.
On the nose there is a burst of peat smoke alongside creamy, silky coconut. The palate is intense and powerful, with a hint of salt, and the finish is elegant and creamy.
