Laphroaig Select is a single malt from Islay, bottled at 40% ABV. It is matured in a combination of casks: Oloroso sherry butts, American white oak, a Pedro Ximenez hogshead, quarter casks and first fill bourbon casks.
This mix of casks gives a restrained, slightly more subdued take on the classic Islay style of Laphroaig.
