Lark Oloroso Cask Release is a limited single malt from Australia, in a 500ml bottle. Head Distiller Chris Thomson chose two Australian Oloroso-style casks from Seppeltsfield to finish a combination of ex-sherry and ex-peated Port single malts from the Coal River Valley Distillery.
It is described as syrupy, with a light viscosity, and aromas of toasted pastries and buttery baked goods alongside subtle peat smoke. The finish is a classic Oloroso one, melting into warm butter and slowly browning bread.
