Laws San Luis Valley is a cask strength rye whiskey bottled at 66.4% ABV in a 750ml bottle. It comes from A.D. Laws Whiskey House, a grain-to-glass distillery in Denver, Colorado.
Each batch is milled, cooked, fermented, distilled and aged on site, using heirloom grains from family-owned Colorado farms. Fermentation is done in the open air on the grain, and a copper pot-column still produces a robust, grain-forward whiskey, which is aged in 53 gallon charred oak barrels.
